Beatrice Pobre, Bea for short, was more than just a first-time novelist. As a dentist-turned-writer, she had a reflective online presence, supportive mutuals, and a passion for storytelling.

But launching her debut novel—The Town of Perpetual Autumn—required more than a simple announcement.

 

Bea needed a content strategy that could bridge her personal story with a new identity as an emerging author in the Filipino literary scene.

We* knew that virality amongst social media users wouldn't always equate to dedicated readers. So instead of chasing numbers, we focused on connecting and building a community amongst local cozy enthusiasts.


Our content pillars were:

  • Relate: The Author — Storytelling posts that invited readers into Bea’s world: cozy scenes, reflections, and authentic glimpses into her journey as a Filipino writer.

  • Inform: The Book — Clean, compelling posts with teaser quotes, pre-order details, and purchase links, everything potential buyers need at a glance.

  • Engage: The Community — Polls, behind-the-scenes content, and interactive stories that turned readers into family, not just spectators.

This wasn’t just about promoting a book.

 

It was about laying the foundation for a literary career that felt true, purposeful, and aligned with Bea.

My role solely focused on social media strategy (including content direction) for the launch of The Town of Perpetual Autumn, while copywriting, graphic design, and videos were executed by the creative members of Sol.
